I grew up in a small Pacific Northwest town where I spent countless hours sitting high up in the branches of a pine tree, devouring my favorite books. To be an author, someone who writes all those magical words I loved so much, seemed like a far-fetched dream. Then one day, after I'd lived a thousand lives and the kids were grown and making lives of their own, I decided to try.
